The Goat Rodeo Sessions NPR Tiny Desk Concert
My dream job (if not for what I'm currently pursuing) would be to work at NPR Music.
Introduction
Seeing as this is my first post on here, I figured I'd give an informal introduction.
My name is Paul Torres. I'm 24 years old and currently in-between having just graduated with my BA in Communication Studies/Minor in Psychology at Duquesne University and applying to Occupational Therapy graduate schools. Prerequisites suck, especially if you find you want to pursue a field that was completely different than your previous degree. Putting oneself through school has a tendency to instill an unwanted patience in me. Finances, schmynances. No matter though; life goes on.
I grew up an Army Brat and lived all over the world, which was both amazing to experience so much culture at a young age, but sad in attempting to maintain consistent friendships over all the years. Nevertheless, I still plan on traveling and would like to start a geocaching exploration when I have free time.
The original intention of this blog was to be purely design based, but I felt that would be too constricting to attempting to present a more appropriate form of self-expression. With that said, this blog will be of pretty much anything off the top of my head or what quirks I notice in day to day life. However, there will be more attention to some topics over others (food, design, humor, music), but that's not to say I won't randomly go into a philosophical debate with anyone who wants to.
Again, I hope this is a decent way to introduce myself. Nice to meet you all. :]
EDIT: I'll be messing around with a few design ideas, so I apologize for the mix up of stuff.
